Recently, there has been an increase in people opting for 7.1.6 channel surround systems to enhance their experience when watching movies or listening to music. The 7.1.6 channel system uses more speakers than traditional 5.1 or 7.1 channels to create a more immersive sound experience. Compared to traditional setups, the 7.1.6 channel system delivers sound not only from the front, rear, and sides but also from the ceiling.

While the 7.1.6 channel surround system offers immersive audio effects, it can be costly, so it's important to consider budget when selecting an appropriate system. Currently, the 7.1 channel surround system is more commonly used.

Dolby Atmos is an audio technology that provides more immersive sound when watching movies or listening to music. To implement this technology, a Dolby Atmos processor is required. AV receivers are devices that implement such functionality by considering factors such as the size and shape of the space, speaker positions, and spacing to provide optimal sound.

With a Dolby Atmos processor, you can achieve more immersive sound when watching movies or listening to music. Unlike traditional stereo methods where sound is delivered only left and right, Dolby Atmos delivers sound not only horizontally but also vertically, to the ceiling and walls. Using a Dolby Atmos processor allows for a more vivid experience when enjoying movies or music.
