The Peacock Theater, also known as the Nokia Theatre, is a venue located within the L.A. Live complex in Los Angeles, hosting various arts and cultural events, providing audiences with special experiences.

The Nokia Theatre is one of the relatively recent venues, opened in 2007, offering stages to both national and international artists and organizations. With approximately 7,100 seats, it boasts a scale suitable for large-scale performances and events.

Performance Venue Speakers

In large venues with a length exceeding 70 meters, the main feature of speaker placement is the installation of a cardioid subwoofer at the center. There are several important advantages to the installation of cardioid subwoofers.

Cardioid subwoofers have the characteristic of concentrating the primary sound direction without spreading sound to the surrounding area, allowing for effective control of sound wave directionality. This enables precise control of audio in the desired direction, providing an excellent audio experience in venues and event spaces.

Additionally, cardioid subwoofers also help solve issues related to stage monitoring and stage performance. With the primary sound focused on the audience area, noise from the stage is reduced, allowing artists and musicians to have a more effective monitoring environment.

Stage Lighting

The Source Four® 5˚ allows for precise control of light with its narrow 5-degree beam angle, making it an ideal fixture for creating highly detailed lighting effects. It was used here as the primary fixture for achieving the required illumination at a distance.

Front of House (FOH) at the Venue

The FOH (Front of House) is located approximately 50 meters away from the stage. At this position, a digital audio mixer capable of handling 88 channels simultaneously was used. Additionally, the lighting console operated as a primary and backup system.
